The University of Nairobi would like to inform staff and students that following SONU elections that were concluded on Saturday the 2nd of April 2016, normal academic programmes have resumed at all our campuses.

The University semester examinations scheduled for 11th April to 6th May 2016 will go on as per the Senate approved timetable.  Students are therefore requested to continue preparing for the examinations.

The University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Peter M. F. Mbithi presided over the launch of the Online Application Information System that will ease University application process. The system was launched today March, 14, 2016 at the Central Catering Unit.

Speaking during the launch, the Vice-Chancellor noted the online application system was being launched and will help the University management in decisions being driven by technology innovations.  Prof. Mbithi thanked the University Information and Communication Technology, ICT and Kenya Commercial Bank teams that worked to ensure success of the system. KCB will implement the payment gateway of the online application system.
