The University of Nairobi participated in the 13th edition of the Commission for Universities Education Exhibition in Machakos.

The Exhibition ran from March 19-21, 2015,and attracted over 80 institutions of higher learning in Kenya. The  Exhibition provided an appropriate opportunity for the University to showcase courses and services offered in all colleges and central administration units.

The University of Nairobi is engaging a panel of distinguished eminent persons to share ideas on the transformative agenda of the institution. 

  In a forum held on March 25, 2015, the University management invited a delegation drawn from academia and industry to share their views on key areas that will influence the process of rebranding the University. In addition, the forum provided the University’s leadership an opportunity to share its vision, nurture partnerships and collaboration with stakeholders, receive feedback and align UoN vision with national, regional, and global expectations.

The University of Nairobi Council has appointed Prof. Henry Mutoro as the acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration and Finance.

Prof. Mutoro is still the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs.

The appointment takes effect from Monday, March 16, 2015 until the post is substantively filled.
