The Graduate Student Affairs (GSA) section was established in Academic Affairs Division to facilitate the academic services in respect to graduate studies.
Functions
- Coordination of graduate syllabi and regulations
- Administration of graduate scholarships
- Administration of research grants
- Administration and processing graduate thesis, projects or dissertations
- Proper conduct and supervision of graduate studies and programmes
- General welfare and discipline of graduate students.

Services (Charged)
The following services and charges apply to postgraduate students:
- Extension - Ksh. 10,000 per semester (Payment for extension is done only after approval of request by senate)
- Temporary withdrawal - Ksh. 2,250 per semester
- Change of course / Interfaculty transfer - Ksh. 1,000
- Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund application - Ksh. 2,000
