HELB waives application fees for the Non-Loanee Compliance Certificate

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has announced the waiver of non-loanees compliance certificate application fees of Ksh. 1,000.00.The fee was levied to all applicants of the certificate of compliance irrespective of whether you are a loanee or not.

This comes as a great relief to thousands of job seekers who had to part with their hard earned money to receive a certificate from an institution they never engaged with during their university studies. This therefore means all non-loanees will receive certificate free of charge. Other compliance certificates that are required during job applications are Certificate of Good Conduct, Tax Compliance Certificate etc.
