Students & Faculty Members urged to embrace Online Learning

The UoN Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama was one of the panelists on NTV Live edition of the Nation Leadership Forum on 21st May, 2020, titled 'The Impact of Covid-19 on Education'. He expressed his hope of tertiary institutions fully adopting virtual teaching and learning. 

Other panelists were Dr. Sara Ruto, Chairperson, Covid-19 National Education Response Committee, Dr. Nicholas Letting, CEO KASNEB and Prof. Charles Ong’ondo, an Associate Professor, Faculty of Education at Moi University.

Prof. Kiama  described how the University of Nairobi has navigated the whole issue of online teaching and learning, concluding by saying that we must invest in technology.
