UoN gets lion's share of 'A' Students in the KUCCPS-2020 placement

The University of Nairobi has received the largest share of the top students in last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. Students who scored A (Plain) were 630 and out of these, a whopping 313 students have been placed to study various courses at the University of Nairobi the most popular and competitive degree course being Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. This was revealed on Tuesday June 02, 2020 by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). The figures show that in total, 68 universities declared a capacity of 145,000 places, with the top cream of 5,894 going to the University of Nairobi. All students admitted to various universities were asked to contact their respective institutions for admission letters and joining instructions.
