The Secretariat handles the following:

  • Coordination of Senate activities
  • Coordination of activities of standing committees of Senate
  • Coordination of activities of Ad hoc committees of Senate
  • Processing and custody of records and documents of Senate and Senate Committee proceedings
  • Liaison with the coordination of Boards of Academic Affairs Division
  • Management of accreditation process for affiliate institutions
  • Monitoring, tracking, evaluation and reporting of Performance Contract
  • Preperation of reports e.g. Council, Annual and external agencies
  • Organization and coordination of Exhibitions and Open Days
  • Managing Staff Education Support Fund (SESF)
  • Managing the Transfer of Credits and Exemptions process
  • Secretariat services to the timetabling and scheduling committee.
