Academic Affairs Division continues to be the driving force in the efficient and effective management of the activities of the Teaching and Learning process. The main activities comprise Curriculum Review, Programme Promotion, Application; and Student Admission Registration, Curriculum Delivery, Examination and Convocation. Our focus is to leverage technology in Service Delivery, Management of Data and embracing of essential change to ensure the University of Nairobi achieves its vision of being “a world-class University committed to scholarly excellence”. In order to sustain this World Class Status, the Division places high premium on quality of Staff; and Students; Infrastructure and Facilities that support the Programmes; to compliance with the Law, and all relevant Regulatory and Administrative Frameworks.

To ensure efficient and effective service delivery, the Division is divided into ten (10) Administrative Support Sections namely: Academic Registrar’s Office; Office of Dean of Students and Career Services; Senate Secretariat; Quality Assurance; Admissions; Examinations; General students’ matters; Graduate Students Affairs; Academic affairs Division ICT; Student Records and Data. The sections coordinate and provide Administrative Support to the Faculties and Departments where the actual function of Teaching and Learning occurs. This is facilitated through regular and frequent communication and consultative meetings.
