Professor Julius Ogeng'o has called on all teaching units at the University of Nairobi to work closely now with the Director ICT and the college ICT officers to close any skills gaps that may emerge during the conduct of online examinations. In his communique to all staff and students he announced that the Online Examination Support Training that started on 11th June 2020 has been completed successfully pointing out that any additional training from now onwards will be done on a need-to-need basis.

Professor Ogeng’o is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs at the University of Nairobi. He applauded the Director of ICT and the Director of Open, Distance and eLearning (ODeL) for the successful Online Teaching Training and Online Examinations Training that has been on-going in the last 3 months. The University adopted the mode of online learning and teaching when it shutdown on 16th March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
