Call for DAAD Scholarship - Applications 2021 now open

The DAAD Regional Director wishes to inform all staff and students that the call for Applications for the 2021 In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme for Eastern Africa is now open! This programme is open to individual Master and PhD students in the Sub-Saharan Africa region who wish to study either in their home countries or at selected host institutions in other African countries. The programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and aims at university staff in the first line, without neglecting the public sector demand for academically trained personnel.    For this region, the scholarship is open to citizens and permanent residents of sub-Saharan Africa to study in selected institutions in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia and Sudan. Newly Launched DAAD Scholarship Programme: Leadership for Africa

Ms. Beate Schindler-Kovats the Director, DAAD Regional Office for Africa wishes to inform all staff and students that DAAD recently launched a new Leadership for Africa Scholarship Programme. The programme is open to bachelor’s degree holders who wish to pursue a master’s degree in Germany. The scholarship is open to applicants from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and Sudan. DAAD SCHOLARSHIP FOR MASTERS - "LEADERSHIP FOR AFRICA IN EAST AFRICA"

The DAAD's (German Academic Exchange Service) regional office in Nairobi has announced a new call for the DAAD funded scholarship programme "Leadership for Africa in East Africa".

Leadership for Africa (LfA) offers scholarships for master's studies in Germany to qualified applicants in all fields EXCEPT medicine, public health, veterinary medicine, dentistry, law, the arts and architecture. Public health is open for application in the field of medical studies.

The deadline for application is 30th June 2022.
