The University of Nairobi Finance Officer Mrs. Damaris Kavoi has called on all staff to source internally all Covid-19 control detergents from the Department of Chemistry, College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS) and the Department of Pharmaceuticals Practice, School of Pharmacy, College of Health Sciences (CHS)
In her communiqué to all staff by email on 10th July 2020 Mrs. Kavoi noted that “Since the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, there has been an increased demand for hand wash and hand sanitizers in the University. For the last three months the University has relied on petty cash to purchase these items from various external suppliers. This therefore is to notify all staff members that from July 1, 2020: All Covid-19 control detergents will be sourced internally.”
