PhD Supervisors Training Workshop

In partnership with CARTA (Consortium for Advanced Training Research in Africa), the University of Nairobi held a three day workshop running from 4th - 6th February,  for PhD supervisors from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Health Sciences. The workshop was officially opened by the DVC AA, Prof. Ayub Gitau.

The workshop was meant to create an environment for PhD supervisors to come together to discuss various issues including Recruitment of PhD candidates, Supervision process/styles, Formal terms and Conditions of supervision, university and academic citizenship, scientific integrity amongs others.
