Appeal for support of needy students - UoN Needy Students Fund (UoN-NSF)

The Office of the Dean of Students is inviting well wishers to donate material items or cash for support of University of Nairobi needy students to help them cope with life and learning at home during this Covid-19 period. The Office has identified three key needs that students require support in: 1.  Material needs – food and nonfood items 2.  Technological needs – smart phones, tablets and laptops for eLearning 3.  Financial needs – school fees and money for upkeep

Peer review research webinars on COVID-19

The College of Health Sciences at the University of Nairobi invites staff and students to Covid-19 Research Webinars on ‘The acceptability and effectiveness of tele-medicine based approach to offering psychosocial support to front-line health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kenya.’ The key speakers are Prof. Muthoni Mathai (School of Medicine) and Dr. Diana Marangu  (School of Medicine). The webinars are held every Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
