Call for DAAD Scholarship - Applications 2021 now open

The DAAD Regional Director wishes to inform all staff and students that the call for Applications for the 2021 In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Programme for Eastern Africa is now open! This programme is open to individual Master and PhD students in the Sub-Saharan Africa region who wish to study either in their home countries or at selected host institutions in other African countries. The programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and aims at university staff in the first line, without neglecting the public sector demand for academically trained personnel.    For this region, the scholarship is open to citizens and permanent residents of sub-Saharan Africa to study in selected institutions in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia and Sudan. UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS: ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023

University of Nairobi is offering 137 masters scholarships for the 2022/2023 academic year. The applications are open only to applicants for the September 2022 intake.

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria among other specific criteria by their respective units.

GANDHI SMARAK NIDHI FUND SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES

Following a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund held on Wednesday, 11th May 2022, the applicants whose names are listed in the link below, were awarded the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund Scholarship for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Letters of offer will be available for collection on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Academic Registrar's Office, 13th Floor, University of Nairobi Towers.
