The University of Nairobi wishes to inform the following groups of students (Module I and Module II) that the commencement and opening dates for the 2023/2024 Academic Year is as follows:

SCHOLARSHIPS AT UNIVERSITY OF LA VERNE IN CALIFORNIA - EXCHANGE PROGRAM FOR UNDERGRADUATES AND POSTGRADUATES

This is to  inform you that applications are now open for the Exchange Programs to be held at University of La Verne, California for  UoN students.  

ULV provides a limited number of partial Scholarships, funding 70% of tuition fees where students are awarded based on merit and how early they apply.   

For 3 weeks, along with classes at the ULV campus, the students improve their English skills, learn from global companies on private business visits and gain experience to advance rapidly in their career.   

UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS: ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023

University of Nairobi is offering 137 masters scholarships for the 2022/2023 academic year. The applications are open only to applicants for the September 2022 intake.

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria among other specific criteria by their respective units.

GANDHI SMARAK NIDHI FUND - MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP: 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi fund (GSNF) will offer a limited number of partial scholarships tenable at the University of Nairobi, for Masters Programmes during the 2022/2023 academic year.


Interested candidates are invited to apply/re-apply for the scholarship through our online application portal (https://gandhi.uonbi.ac.ke) from Monday 1st August 2022. A non-refundable application fee of Kenya Shillings Two Thousand Only (KShs. 2,000.00) will be charged to be paid through MPESA services.

DAAD SCHOLARSHIP FOR MASTERS - "LEADERSHIP FOR AFRICA IN EAST AFRICA"

The DAAD's (German Academic Exchange Service) regional office in Nairobi has announced a new call for the DAAD funded scholarship programme "Leadership for Africa in East Africa".

Leadership for Africa (LfA) offers scholarships for master's studies in Germany to qualified applicants in all fields EXCEPT medicine, public health, veterinary medicine, dentistry, law, the arts and architecture. Public health is open for application in the field of medical studies.

The deadline for application is 30th June 2022.

GANDHI SMARAK NIDHI FUND SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES

Following a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund held on Wednesday, 11th May 2022, the applicants whose names are listed in the link below, were awarded the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund Scholarship for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Letters of offer will be available for collection on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Academic Registrar's Office, 13th Floor, University of Nairobi Towers.
