The Director of Graduate School, Professor Lydia Njenga wishes to notify all graduating class of September 2020 that bound theses and research projects shall be received on Monday May 01, 2020 - Friday May 05, 2020 from 9.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. The bound theses, dissertations and research projects will be received by Graduate School staff at the Reception 13th Floor of the University of Nairobi Towers. UoN alumnus, Dr. Patrick Amoth elected as WHO’s Executive Board Vice President

A University of Nairobi alumnus Dr. Patrick Omwanda Amoth has been elected to serve as the Vice President of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO). Dr. Amoth who was elected alongside four other Vice Presidents during a virtual meeting on Friday May 22, 2020, will be representing the Africa region and will serve for a period of two years.

Chancellor Vijoo Rattansi calls for closer ties between Kenya & China

The University of Nairobi Chancellor Dr. Vijoo Rattansi has called for closer ties between Kenya and China so as to enhance more exchange of knowledge and skills. Speaking during the handing over of the University of Nairobi’s Ksh 1.4 billion Confucius Institute, Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, said that the University’s resolve to make the world a better place, can not be shaken despite the many challenges and the corona virus pandemic. She took the opportunity to thank, the County Government of Nairobi for the many concessions made during the construction of the building complex.
