The DAAD's (German Academic Exchange Service) regional office in Nairobi has announced a new call for the DAAD funded scholarship programme "Leadership for Africa in East Africa".
Leadership for Africa (LfA) offers scholarships for master's studies in Germany to qualified applicants in all fields EXCEPT medicine, public health, veterinary medicine, dentistry, law, the arts and architecture. Public health is open for application in the field of medical studies.
The deadline for application is 30th June 2022.
Over 22 Chinese Companies working in Kenya are looking for over 120 people to hire by June 2022.
Students and graduating students are requested to come with copies of their CV during the JOB FAIR 2022.
Following a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund held on Wednesday, 11th May 2022, the applicants whose names are listed in the link below, were awarded the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund Scholarship for the 2021/2022 academic year.
Letters of offer will be available for collection on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Academic Registrar's Office, 13th Floor, University of Nairobi Towers.
The Academic Division took part in the Annual Tree Planting Day which was held on Friday, May 13, 2022 where 7000 tree seedlings were planted. The event was held at the Upper Kabete Campus.
The organisations that joined the University of Nairobi tree planting event were Equity Group Foundation, Nairobi County Government, National Government, Shamba Café, Loresho Community and Association of Green champions.
The Academic Division conducted an online training on postgraduate supervision for supervisors on Wednesday 11th May, 2022 form 9.00am.
The training was graced by Prof. Julius Ogeng’o Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs (AA), and the Academic Registrar.

The Open Day 2022 will be a blended event.The Opening Ceremony will be held tomorrow, Thursday, May 5 2022 from 10:00 am

The University of Nairobi wishes to inform the prize donors, Recipients and the public that the prize presentation ceremony for 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 academic years shall be held on Friday May 6, 2022 in Taifa Hall starting 9.00am.
The prize donors and recipients are expected to be physically present to present and receive prizes respectively.
