This year's Nairobi Innovation Week 2022 will showcase innovations from the students, faculty, start-ups to policymakers, funders, industry, innovation enablers, non-governmental organizations, research institutions, and the general public.

CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIPS (COHORT 3) - KYUNGDONG UNIVERSITY GLOBAL CAMPUS, SOUTH KOREA (SEPTEMBER 2022 INTAKE)

IUCEA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kyungdong University Global Campus with the eventual goal of promoting sustainable development through training of qualified middle-level professional manpower in East Africa. This goal will be achieved through establishment of Academic Collaboration Centers in EAC Partner States and facilitating the training of students from EAC Partner States in South Korea. 

UoN HEALTH DAY SENSITIZATION

The University of Nairobi, through the University Health Services, has scheduled activities to commemorate the World Health Day on April 7, 2022 in tandem with the World Health Organization (WHO). The 2022 (WHO) theme is ‘Our Planet, Our Health’ while the University has proposed to customize by articulation of relevant health promotion activities under the theme: ‘Health Promotion for Well-being’.

The UNSA Election season is here!

On February 17, 2022, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) officially announced that elections for the various Faculty and Campus Students associations will take place virtually on Friday, March 25, 2022. The Commission also released timelines for the recruitment of Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers (find the attached election timelines here).

COVID-19 VACCINATION AND SENSITIZATION OUTREACH PROGRAMME

The University Vaccination Centre plans to conduct outreach of COVID-19 vaccination and sensitization sessions in the campuses.

The vaccination exercise is in tandem with Ministry of Health guidelines and entails administration of COVID-19 approved vaccines.

It is encouraged that those among the university community and who may not have been vaccinated or would be due for their second jab or booster should aval themselves for the vaccination programme at the campus levelas indicated in the schedule attached.

NAIROBI INNOVATION WEEK 2022

The Nairobi Innovation Week (NIW) started in 2015, and is an annual event celebrating local and international innovations while enhancing innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The University of Nairobi in collaboration with a large number of partners and stakeholders convene each year to organize and execute the NIW event.
